Unpublished Letter To The R-J

On Sunday I sent this letter to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.  So far, they have yet to acknowledge it:

In your issue of February 8, you ran an illustrated, half-page feature about a local adult film company that solicits young Las Vegans to become amateur porn stars. The article was saturated with graphic details. You ran this story directly opposite the regular “R-Jeneration” page, a teen-oriented segment written by and for young people.  Best case scenario, someone at your paper was asleep at the wheel. Either that, or someone is guilty of a heinous, reckless misjudgment. The youth of Las Vegas have enough problems trying to grow up without being mired in the sludge our society celebrates without the Review-Journal encroaching on a safe space with yet another tawdry bit of sleaze.

Can’t imagine why they wouldn’t print that…
